Hanoooooi!

All better now!

The weather in Hoi An was still crappy, but it is a very beautiful cozy town. Their are more then 200 tailors. So you can get the most amazing clothes, which makes it very hard for backpackers. I allready bought some stuff in Siem Reap, so I couldnt go crazy. i ended up just making one fitted new years'eve dress. Bought some sandals too. They broke down after an hour and my boots lasted the whole three days... (i guess it was the rain...)
I bumped into Andrew again, an aussie I met in Phnom Phen. Him and two friends are driving trough Vietnam with their motorcycles. We all got along very good, so they invited me to join them. We didnt get that far, because of the weather. We were kinda stranded in Da Nang because it just wouldnt stop raining. Eventually we decided to put the motorcycles in the bus to Hanoi.

So that is where i am now. Hanoi, very big, noisy, polluded, ... Normally not my cup of tea, but it has its charms. (That is only when im ok though, its a terrible place to be tired or hungover:-)) The streets are full of motorbikes, but its charming in his own way, and their is a big lake in the middle of town if u are looking for some peace and quiet.
Tomorow we are going to Halong Bay, which is supposed to be very nice. Cant wait to see some nature again. i've been in cities for too long. After that Andrew and me are driving our motorbikes (im buying Famke's, and i'll sell it afterwurths) to Sapa.
